i think haxton jumped the gun in his aggresiveness here. its obvious his strat was just be super agressive and force all in before the flop .

Its very rare to see the “only highest card flush”-rule. In all major event all 5 cards play when you show a flush.

Nope Lunkin has the BETTER flush with the AQ542. Haxton’s Flush is A8542. As you see, the queen played as the kicker to a Higher flush.

Hope you got it. It’s not Ace High flush. It’s Ace Queen flush vs. Ace Eight flush.

can someone explain to me why lunkin won with the flush situation. he had a A Q 5 4 2. and the other guy had a A 8 5 4 2. isn’t it split???

The way Haxton played looks bad from an audience perspective, but really, Lunkin was extremely lucky with the way the cards were dealt. Try to imagine you don’t see Lunkin’s holecards and just follow how Haxton is playing from his perspective.
