Ricky Jay beautifully performing a seemingly odd ‘Alaskan’ poker demonstration. To all people pondering about method: this can be done with “an ordinary pack of playing cards”; no editing, swaps, hidden drawers, strippers, smoke, mirrors, or monkeys coming out of sleeves. Jay’s style is a purist’s one – know your classics.

  14. It’s called the slip cut. One of the most basic table moves you can perform.

  17. he’s amazing but after figuring out a differnt one of his tricks, its alittle usetting becuase i know how this one works now too

  18. he’s definately the master of false shuffles. i’ve never seen anyone better than him at it

  19. i think that after the control he employs regular riffle stacking…. however thats the way i work it

  22. at 0:16 when he pulls off a packet for showing half face up half face down.. he pulls out the half that he just riffled in, even though there seems to be no break… amazing
