  2. poker being a sport is incredibly laughable

  3. Is it a good thing when a government tries to protect its citizen’s from themselves? Where is personal responsibility in this? With the internet (as pointed out here) it really isn’t possible to ban poker anyways. Looks like a huge waste of police resources.

  4. I have been playing poker for a living about 3 years now, and it is very similar to be a professional “day trader” in the stock market.. if you have enough skill and are good with bankroll management you can make a profit like 60%-65% of your sessions…

  5. I wouldnt mind being searched by Irina

  6. got to love Russia …heading for a better society

  7. Ban something like gambling and it goes underground. I wonder if the police are getting paid off to look the other way.

  8. @Ristar85 your hand is dealt to you, but then there is for example, 5 minutes of choice with regards to how you use that hand, like reading other players, counting pot odds or equity. making a decision. etc

  9. Just because there are a small number of casualties doesn’t mean something should be criminalised. Fuck! Criminalise voting, how many millions of lives have been affected by voting in a government that wrecks a country?

  10. poker is not a sport

  11. Interesting story.

  12. there’s a lot more skill in computer games (be it fps, rts, combat flight sim, rpg), than in poker.

in poker, your hand is dealt out to u.

in computer games, victory or loss depends solely on the player/team.
