    Antonius discussed this hand on his blog. He actually called down because he was playing props with Ivey on the side, and knew Ivey wouldn’t see a flop with a red Ace in his hand. As viewers, we really don’t get that good a notion of the table dynamics.

    @fAtbAstUrd350 Its not poor commentating, Its the angle, at certain angles It looks like there is only this amount of chips but theres a hidden chip behind it. Its a common mistake, any poker player has probably made this mistake at least a few times thruout his life! That 10th chip was probably just hidden from the angle view that the commentaters were at!

    I watched this half a year ago, thought PA’s river call was awful but I realize now he has the top of his preflop flatting range and if he folds this it gives Ivey free license to bluff these boards given he can represent a boat and PA can’t (AQ, AK, JJ, QQ would have reraised preflop). In other words, he’s calling IMO because Ivey can show up here with 8-5 suited thinking because PA has so few full houses and he’ll surely fold missed clubs and be ‘good enough to fold trips’.

    All you donkeys & fish have to realise that Ivey has made big bluffs before at these sorts of stakes. You can’t fault Antonious’ play too much here.
