   anusanthu I agree, it’s OK to slow play at first but if there’re no scare cards on the flop then you have to take it down unless you flop quad aces then you take it to the river!

   alakazambitch Hellmuth may make mistakes but he still won millions playing poker! Playing AA can be tricky at times. Sometimes it’s OK to slow play but not too much. If I ever become as good as Hellmuth I would be so greatfull!

   even though a lot of people give phil hellmuth a lot of crap because of his temper, he still is a solid poker player. he’s probably one of the best tournament players out there.

    another thin, online poker is all abt software….it is entirly diffrent style card shuffles than live poker. there is not even shuffle. it’s a fixed game….howmany times, i’ve won wth quads 2′s on line. in live poker quads is very rare to come out from a 52 card deck. cos it’s not a fixed sotfware.

    first of all poker skill is all abt ur bank balance….if u got millions in ur account, u don’t need to be scared abt tht u lose, so tht u can call or reraise or bluff whtever u want…u can be more agreesive. even if u lose u don’t care….n i don’t know what this guy talkin abt… i’ve lost couple of thousands last month losing wth AA, Kk , Ak. bull shit…never wait for river show up if u got AA..

    wow this one big load of bullshit. and you shouldnt listen to him because he looses more online then he wins. sure he earns it al big in real live games, but thats not wat hes talkin about. to wait for the top 10 hands and then be agressive only raises the percentage of luck youre gonna need to win, bcuz you spread youre luck unevenly over lesser hands.

    small connectors never even get to flop after preflop raise from AA KK, and even if they do they have around 20% against the high pocket pair (suited or not)

    AA KK QQ is mostly beaten by small connetors or sutted connetors so if u play only aa kk qq you are very likely going to lose.

    in holdem is very important to be agresiv.

    I SAY MORE HANDS PER HOUR === MORE WINNERS WHEN U PLAY correct strategy.!!
    I played ONLY AA, Ak,Aq, KK, QQ, JJ.!
    , CONSISTENTLY.. got beat on RIVER by some jackasss..with 4-9 off suit drawing OH..ya..that’s a ‘skill” playing..Raising 2 pair AA,KK on the flop when u have 4-8, 4,10,2, etc.!! BULLSHI@ TOO Many River cards win over GOOD hands.!.. C Ya.!

    @DNAblues Obviously AA can be beat, but usually if somebody calls you all in they either have a different pocket or they have AK AQ so you have one of their outs so AA IS the best pre flop hand. The noyl thing that beats it, is pure luck.

    So would I but I would not necessary take that hand all the way to the river. It all depends on what the community cards are and my read on my opponents.

    Watching the final 2 tables at the latest WSOP provide ample evidence that AA is not a guaranteed win.

    It is all about probability, which means “in the long run” a certain hand, such as AA, will win more often than any other hole cards.

    I just wanted to make it clear the AA is not a guaranteed winner. And newbies fall for this all the time.
