   Goes to show you how much more EV u can make if you don’t go on tilt. I think there are two things that are the weakest points of each player that have a large determination if you will go broke or not. One is the probability of going on tilt and the other is bankroll management. I think there are a lot of great poker players in the world today. Literally thousands, but i think most do NOT have good bankroll skills and can’t stop themselves from going on tilt.

    so you see that’s why daniel is playing like that because he will start off losing say $20 grand but then will win and make a profit off $30 grand coz that’s how this table pots go. remember this isn’t a last man standing tournment and thats the main reason!
    thats what most of these players are doing!

    You don’t understand what daniel’s doing, he’s playing tight but is playing with marginal hands before the flop by limping or standard raise on all ‘right or good’ hands because he doesn’t want to seem tight,which is a very smart! he does this because why get aggresive when blinds don’t go up, best players in the world and playing with hundreds of thousands of dollars! He’s loses a little but will win big when he hit’s something because they won’t think his an extremly tight player!

    Daniels style of play doesn’t suit the super high stakes all so well. Loose aggressive works much better than loose passive(which happens to work with unpredictable players) In modern poker terms Loose aggressive and tight aggressive in their best form pretty much mean the same thing. This is very new style of poker to play and not utilized well yet, even on the internet. NL1000 is the first level you meet full rings of these new generation players.
