    When Daniel had the A8 if it was anybody else at the table besides Doyle i think he stl has to call, but since it was vs Barry who is very tight there is nothing wrong with just calling the flop and turn but when he bets 50k on the river it’s either a bluff or a str8/set/or AK maybe AQ. All those hands have him beat. He can stil fold on flop but i don’t think it’s horrible play to call the flop. What i would have done though is led out on the turn to see where i stand.

    While I think Daniel is obviously a great player, especially when it comes to tournaments, he did play very poorly here. He had ran into bad luck before and let it show here. As Gabe stated, Daniel´s statement in the A8 vs KQ hand against Eli was just about a white flag showing. And on the hand against Barry, what could he beat? Not much. A bluff or an AJ or AT, with which Barry would not probably bet on the river. Barry is capable of making those plays, but it´s still a bad call by Daniel.
