   he must go all in with that AK,no possible to play it postflop out of position.
   If he didnt want to risk all the tournament with AK,he must call,only call,to the first raise and see the flop very cheapy.

   agreed. he bet way to small and allowed himself to be bullied. you arent gonna get the other guy to fold without putting yourself out there a bit.

   the kid kept reraising which is what he had to do if he had pocket tens or jacks….then, the flop comes out, phillips raises, knows that the kid now knows he has a strong ace…if the kid goes all in there, he is clearly representing a set. phillips is crushed by a set….he cant call.

   finally, someone with some sense. Calling into that, even though he had him beat, would’ve been a bad play. AK all in with preflop action, he has to assume the kid has pockets or hit the flop with JT out there, the kid just got lucky that phillips had nada.

    That was a great all in, it was a fairly easy read to know that Phillips had big cards as opposed to a big pair, especially telling by the way he said “I call” preflop.

    that was a great play by Demidov, he sensed weakness from Phillips’ bet after the flop and he exploited it

    This is why I hate playing Russians, they make idiot donk all ins like this with AQ, AJ, or AK all while missing the flop. Hell, they might as well go all in with any ace…. oh wait, they do that anyway!
